You have found the blog I will be using to organize my learning about the Bible.  I went to a weekend presentation by Jeff Cavins, and it inspired me to want to better understand Scripture, and God’s plan for salvation.  I’m thinking I will need to read through the Bible several times, probably over and over again forever.  One of Mr. Cavin’s last comments at his presentation was, “You have the rest of your life to figure this out.”  My goal is simply to learn a little more each day about God’s Word.

Initially, my plan is to read through the books that keep the “plot” moving forward, and become more familiar with the stories.  I’m at the end of Genesis, and I’ve been jotting down the main plot points as I read.  I will post them here, and continue to post as I read.

If you have found this blog, please feel free to comment!  Share what you think, ask questions, add your ideas.  Join me on this adventure!
